When WAMC Northeast Public Radio revamped it’s 51% podcast with a new host, they needed to update the branding as well. Ashleigh redesigned the brand and included a new color scheme to appeal to the audience.
PROBLEM
The previous 51% brand didn’t reflect the listenership and didn’t connect with the type of content produced. The generic looking brand wasn’t something that woulds stand out in a sea of other podcast options when someone is scrolling in search of binge-worthy content.
SOLUTION
Ashleigh used her signature method to bring this brand to life.
By bringing fearlessness to life by combining bold colors and youthful, edgy, yet feminine imagery. The new brand is bold, fresh and unapologetic with an emphasis on highlighting the visual aspects of women’s stories. All without being too busy or chaotic. The juxtaposition of type is representative of the juxtaposition women have to face daily. They are to be strong, nurturing and ground-breaking all at the same time, and they THRIVE at it all. The 51% brand is all about empowering women to be their best selves, stand up and speak up for what’s right-even if their voice shakes.
